Habib Construction Services (Pvt.) Ltd. has great work done at Kalma Chowk Flyover Project, and made a new world record after beat to Kelaniya flyover project (phase-I) in Sri Lanka.

The Kelaniya flyover on the Colombo-Kandy road. The length of the Kelaniya flyover is 325 meters. Under the first phase of the Kelaniya flyover, two lanes have been constructed in just 60 days setting a world record. Phase-II of the Kelaniya flyover also constructed on two (2) lanes after long time completion of Phase-I.

While Habib Construction Services (Pvt.) Ltd. constructed Kalma Chowk Flyover Project, based on two(2) bridges of three (3) lanes, 500 meters long in just 135 days, that’s a new world record in the history of flyovers construction.

The length of Kalama flyover is 500 meters. Three plus three lane two separate bridges, located in Heart of the Lahore City would be completed in just 135 days on August 14, 2011.
Previously Kelaniya flyover project in Sri Lanka a 325 meters long two lane bridge was completed in just 60 days setting a world record.

The record was earlier held by the Philippines. The Philippines Government completed assembling a prefabricated 300 meters long Malos flyover in Manila in 66 days.
Kalma Flyover Lahore is almost three times bigger than both above referred flyovers
